What It Is

Changing Your Relationship with Hunger

Semaglutide works by mimicking GLP-1, a hormone that regulates digestion and fullness signals. By slowing gastric emptying, it quiets persistent hunger thoughts and makes portion control manageable.

Rather than relying on willpower alone, semaglutide gives you the breathing room to establish healthy habits for the long term, backed by provider oversight at every round.

  • Weekly Self-Dose
Taken at home once per week.
  • Patient-Paced Titration
Your dose ladder advances only when your body is comfortable and ready.
  • Round-by-Round Guidance
A virtual clinician check-in is included before every single refill.
  • Shipped to Your Door
Delivered to your door in discreet packaging with precise written instructions.

The Benefits

What Patients Notice

Individual responses vary, and no provider can promise specific figures. The following observations represent the most common physiological changes patients report, in roughly the order they tend to appear:

Reduced food noise

The constant internal debate around meals fades. Portions naturally shrink without a struggle, and snacking becomes an intentional choice rather than a reflex.

Steady, sustainable weight loss

Gradual, progressive weight reduction month over month rather than a quick crash, supporting long-term success that holds.

Sustained daily energy

As weight decreases, patients frequently report easier physical movement and steady energy without the typical late-afternoon crash.

Improved biomarkers

Blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol often shift in a healthier direction alongside weight progress, which is part of what your care team tracks.

Good to know

Before you start

While semaglutide is the most established GLP-1 protocol, suitability varies by individual.

  • Mild nausea and fullness are normal early on and routinely subside.
  • Contraindicated if you are pregnant, nursing, or actively planning a pregnancy in the near future.
  • Contraindicated for individuals with a personal or family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2).

Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy on an individual prescription and are not FDA-approved as finished pharmaceutical products. Our care team reviews the risks, the benefits, and the alternatives with you before anything is prescribed.

Good To Know

Questions, answered

Is the initial consultation really free?

Yes. Your first visit is 100% free with zero obligation. During your video consult we review your medical history, discuss your health goals, and evaluate what you have tried in the past. Our care team gives you an honest assessment of whether our protocols are right for you. You only pay if you choose to begin a treatment plan.

Do I need to live in New Jersey?

Conquest Integrative Health & Wellness provides fully virtual telehealth care across New Jersey. As long as you are physically located within the state at the time of your appointment, you can connect from home, your office, or any private space with a secure internet connection.

How is semaglutide taken?

One injection a week, at home, on whichever day suits you. It is a very small needle and most patients say the anticipation is worse than the injection. Our care team walks you through it on video the first time if you want the company.

Why does the price go up as my dose goes up?

Because the medication genuinely costs more at higher doses. We publish the whole ladder up front so nothing surprises you at round four. Plenty of patients stay comfortable at a middle dose rather than climbing to the top.

Is this a subscription that bills me automatically?

No. Every price covers one follow-up visit plus that round of medication together. You book the visit when you are ready for your next round, so nothing renews on its own.

Do I need labs before I start?

Sometimes. Our care team reviews your history at your first visit and decides whether labs are needed before starting. When they are, we send a requisition you can take to a partner lab near you, or you can bring recent labs from your primary care provider. Lab fees are billed separately.

Are these medications compounded?

Yes. Our treatments are customized protocols prepared by a certified 503A compounding pharmacy specifically for you. While compounded medications are tailored to individual patient needs rather than FDA-approved as finished commercial drug products, we review exact formulations, sourcing, and evidence with you during your initial visit.

What if the side effects are rough?

Tell your care team rather than quitting. Nausea and fullness are common in the first weeks and usually settle. We can hold you at your current dose longer, adjust timing, or slow the climb. The plan bends to you.

Can I switch to tirzepatide later?

Yes. Some patients start on semaglutide and move over if progress stalls or if their goals change. That decision gets made at a visit, with your labs and your history in front of us.
