Hormone Therapy for Women in New Jersey

Feeling like yourself again is not too much to ask.

Perimenopause and menopause are not something to wait out. When estrogen, progesterone and testosterone fall, sleep breaks down, mood flattens, weight shifts and the body you knew starts behaving like someone else's. We test, we prescribe what your labs support, and we keep adjusting until you feel steady again.

From $135 per month for your care, with follow-up labs included

What It Is

The symptoms that usually bring women in

Hormone decline rarely announces itself. It shows up as a collection of things you have been explaining away. If several of these sound familiar, your levels are worth testing.

Sleep that will not hold

You fall asleep fine and wake at three in the morning, or you sleep eight hours and wake up as tired as when you went to bed.

Hot flashes and night sweats

Sudden heat that arrives without warning, during a meeting or in the middle of the night, often followed by a chill.

A shorter fuse than you used to have

Irritability, low-grade anxiety or a flatness that does not match what is actually happening in your life.

Weight that settles in new places

The same eating and the same movement, and yet the midsection changes and will not respond the way it used to.

Brain fog and lost words

Walking into a room and forgetting why, losing the word mid-sentence, or needing to reread the same paragraph twice.

Low libido and discomfort

Interest that has quietly disappeared, along with dryness or discomfort that makes intimacy something you avoid.

The Benefits

What women tend to notice

Individual responses vary and no clinician can promise a specific outcome. These are the changes women most commonly report, roughly in the order they tend to arrive:

Sleep that actually restores

Staying asleep through the night, and waking up feeling like it actually did something for you.

Fewer hot flashes and night sweats

The sudden heat gets less frequent and less intense, and for many women it stops interrupting sleep first.

Steadier mood and clearer thinking

The short fuse lengthens, the fog lifts, and the words come back when you reach for them.

Energy, strength and libido returning

Stamina through the afternoon, muscle that responds to effort again, and interest that comes back on its own.

This is a good fit if

  • You are in perimenopause or menopause and the symptoms are affecting your work, your sleep or your relationships.
  • You have had a hysterectomy or went through menopause early and want guided, monitored care.
  • Your symptoms or previous labs point toward low estrogen, low progesterone or low testosterone.
  • You want a clinician who checks your levels and adjusts, rather than handing you one dose and disappearing.
  • You are comfortable managing your treatment at home between video visits.

This may not be the moment if

  • You are pregnant, nursing or actively trying to conceive.
  • You have a history of breast cancer, another estrogen-sensitive cancer, blood clots or unexplained vaginal bleeding, which needs in-person evaluation first.
  • You are looking for a prescription without lab work or follow-up, which is not how we practice.
  • You need a treatment that has to be administered in a clinic rather than managed at home.

Transparent Pricing

One flat monthly price, your follow-up labs included

Pick the plan that matches what your labs and symptoms call for. Your clinician will confirm the right fit at your free consult, and you can move between plans as your needs change.

Estradiol

Estrogen support for hot flashes, night sweats, broken sleep, mood changes and vaginal dryness. Prescribed on its own when progesterone is not needed, most often after a hysterectomy.

$135per month

Progesterone

Often the first thing we reach for when sleep and anxiety are the loudest symptoms. Also prescribed alongside estrogen to protect the uterine lining.

$135per month

Estradiol and Progesterone Together

The combination most women with a uterus need. Both hormones prescribed, titrated and monitored together under a single monthly fee.

$170per month

Testosterone for Women

Low-dose testosterone for energy, motivation, muscle tone and libido, prescribed at a dose appropriate for women when your labs and symptoms support it.

$135per month

Your monthly fee covers your care, not your medication, which is why it sits below clinics that build the drug into their fee. You are quoted for the medication itself once your clinician settles on your prescription. Your first set of labs runs about $149 and is paid by you. After that, we cover the bloodwork your hormone therapy needs. No contract, no enrollment fee, and nothing renews without you booking your next visit.

Good to know

A few honest notes before you start

Hormone therapy works well for a great many women, and it is still a medical decision that deserves a clear-eyed conversation. Here is what we want you to know going in.

  • We will not prescribe before we see your labs. Guessing at hormone levels is how people end up on the wrong dose for a year.
  • Some formulations are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy on an individual prescription and are not FDA-approved as finished pharmaceutical products.
  • Certain histories, including estrogen-sensitive cancers, blood clots or unexplained bleeding, mean we will send you for in-person evaluation before anything is prescribed.
  • Dosing is adjusted over time. The first prescription is a starting point, not a final answer.
  • If hormone therapy is not the right call for you, we will say so at your free consult rather than selling you a plan.

Hormone therapy is prescribed only after an individualized medical evaluation and appropriate laboratory testing. Some formulations are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy on an individual prescription and are not FDA-approved as finished pharmaceutical products. Your monthly fee covers your clinical care. Medication is billed separately. The form your prescription takes is determined by your clinician based on your history, your labs and your preference.

Book your free consult

Pick a time that works around your schedule. The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

02

Meet by video and get your labs ordered

We go through your symptoms, your history and your goals, then order the lab work needed to see where your levels actually sit.

03

Start your prescription

Once your results are back and your plan is set, we send your prescription through and walk you through exactly how to use it.

04

Recheck, adjust, repeat

We recheck your labs, ask how you actually feel, and adjust your dose. Hormone therapy is managed over time, never set once and forgotten.

Questions, answered

Is the initial consultation really free?

Yes. Your first visit is free with no obligation. We review your history, your symptoms and what you have already tried, and we give you an honest answer about whether hormone therapy makes sense for you. You only pay if you decide to start.

Do I need to live in New Jersey?

You need to be physically located in New Jersey at the time of your visit. Our clinicians are licensed in New Jersey and we see patients across the entire state, from Bergen County down to Cape May, by secure video.

How soon will I feel different?

Sleep and night sweats are usually the first things to shift, often within two to four weeks. Mood and mental clarity tend to follow over the first couple of months. Energy, libido and body composition take longer because they depend on your levels staying steady over time. We recheck your labs and adjust along the way rather than assuming the first dose was the right one.

Do I still need progesterone if I have a uterus?

In almost every case, yes. Estrogen taken without progesterone can thicken the uterine lining over time, so when you still have a uterus we pair the two. That is why the combination plan exists. If you have had a hysterectomy, estrogen on its own is often appropriate.

Why would a woman be prescribed testosterone?

Women produce testosterone too, and levels fall with age. When labs and symptoms line up, low-dose testosterone can help with energy, motivation, muscle tone and libido in ways estrogen alone does not. It is prescribed at a dose appropriate for women, not a scaled-down version of a man's protocol.

What does lab work cost?

You pay for your first set of labs, which runs about $149. After that, we cover the bloodwork your hormone therapy needs. We send a requisition you can take to a lab near you, and if you have recent results from another provider we will use those when they are current enough.

Is my medication included in the monthly price?

No, and that is deliberate. Your monthly fee covers your care: your visit, your dose adjustments and your follow-up lab work. You are quoted for the medication itself once your clinician settles on your prescription. That keeps our monthly fee well below clinics that build the drug into their price.

Are these medications compounded?

Some are. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for you individually based on your prescription, and they are not FDA-approved as finished pharmaceutical products. We work with established pharmacies and we will tell you exactly what you are being prescribed and why.

Is this a subscription that bills me automatically?

Your monthly fee is tied to a follow-up visit, not an automatic charge. You book your check-in when you are ready to continue, so nothing renews behind your back. You can pause or stop at any time by telling us.

Can I stay on hormone therapy long term?

Many women do. The decision is revisited with you at least once a year, weighing your symptoms, your labs, your age and your personal and family history. There is no arbitrary stop date, and there is no pressure to continue if you want to come off.

What if hormone therapy is not safe for me?

We will tell you. Certain histories, including estrogen-sensitive cancers, blood clots or unexplained bleeding, mean hormone therapy either is not appropriate or needs in-person evaluation first. If that is where you land, we will say so plainly at your free consult and point you toward what to do instead.
